Along Came Meraki...
Meraki [may-rah-kee] (adjective) Often used to describe doing something with soul, creativity, or love — when you put “something of yourself” into what you're doing, whatever it may be.
First and foremost I would like to welcome you to Meraki and thank you oh so kindly for stopping by!
My name is Myranda. I am 23 and a mother to 3 beautiful babes. Life for me and mine is pretty much insanity but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Since I can remember, I have always enjoyed expressing myself artistically. Painting and drawing were always things I could easily get lost in. As for sewing, it began as a hobby while I was very much pregnant with my son, Paxton. After lots of creations for my daughter, Ramsey, and so much encouragement from my friends and family, I saw the potential to grow this creative outlet, prayed more times than I can count, and took a huge leap of faith by sharing my love of sewing with others.
So here we are... Meraki. I stumbled upon this word scrolling through Pinterest and instantly fell in love with it and the meaning behind it. Meraki instantly fit my shop description because its such a unique word and describes exactly what I want each of my creations to show. I pour my soul into each of my creations and want every garment to embody that sentiment and be evident to my customers. I want to bring each of you adorable clothing for your littles but more importantly it is my mission to ensure you have an amazing experience shopping small because your purchases are greatly supporting my family and for that I am forever grateful.
I would have never thought that sewing would be something I adore and treasure so profoundly. It is because of all of you that this dream has come true and is rapidly growing! The support and admiration have been unimaginable. It is truly a blessing to have such a loving customer base and my gratitude for that will remain forever indescribable.
I look forward to serving you!
with love always,
